Fun Weekend Orange County Events

Whether you want to “cheers” with friends or take the kiddos on an adventure, I’ve got some great weekend spots you’ll want to visit. Check out some of my favorite events in Orange County this weekend and those to come…

Cheers to the weekend!

Food Wine and Music Festival

Dana Point, CA 6/27/15

Breweries, beautiful food, and boomin’ music make up this fun Cali festival. Don’t miss out! The annual Food Wine and Music Festival is located at Sea Terrace Park on Saturday, June 27th. Festivities begin at 12pm and will die down around 7pm. Bring your buddy and get out there to enjoy live music, a champagne bar, and keep the kiddos occupied with the “kids fun zone.” There’s something for everyone.

Heart and Seoul: Growing up in Korea

Pretend City Children’s Museum 6/13 and 6/14

Get cultured without leaving Orange County this weekend. The Pretend City Children’s Museum is a great place for kids to explore and hey!, you might learn some new things too. Check out the Heart and Seoul exhibit at the Pretend City Children’s Museum in Irvine. Admission is $12.50 per person, and children 12 months and younger are free. The Heart and Seoul exhibit is on the road from the Children’s Museum of  Houston. Take a peek into what it looks like to grow up in Korea. From food to pop videos and apartment living, Heart and Seoul will provide fun, interactive features for both children and parents.

Crystal Cove

Tidepooling at Crystal Cove

8471 Pacific Coast Hwy Laguna Beach, Orange County 6/13/15

This Saturday from 12-1pm, enjoy low tide at Crystal Cove State Park. A volunteer will provide a guided tidepool walk to Pelican Point. Your kids will learn to identify animals and discover some interesting adaptations. Meet at Pelican Point parking lot #2, at the top of the boardwalk near the parking lot. If you need any other information, call Crystal Cove State Park at (949) 497-7647.
